How Wedding Painting Works
Wedding painting starts initially to book your date and discuss details, and then the painting magic unfolds during the wedding.
Before Your Wedding
Fill out the form below with your wedding date to assess availability and secure date. At least two weeks prior to your wedding, there is a scheduled call to discuss logistics of the venue.
During Your Wedding
Nicole arrives early to set up the table display. Guests line up to have their portraits painted. They watch in real time or enjoy their evening and return later to pick-up their personalized artwork.
After Your Wedding
Your guests leave with their portraits and your wedding impression lives on through these one-of-a-kind portraits they take home.

In order to secure your date, a 50% deposit required and remainder 1 month prior to wedding. A fee for travel may be additional. Please inquire today.

Yes, watercolour can be mixed with red and yellow and purple to create various different hues and mimic light to dark skin tones.
I will arrive atleast 1 hour prior to to setup. I would need a table, chair and adequate lighting. The table lays out the paintings for guests to pickup once completed. Access to a nearby outlet (if possible but not necessary).
A spot near high-traffic areas like the bar improves my ability to capture as many guests as possible.
A small table next to the tguest illustration table allows guests to place their drink down which can be useful.
The guest illustration is on a voluntary basis so not everyone may volunteer to approach to get painted. I paint 9-11 guests per hour. However, any incomplete guest portrait (provided I have their photo), get completed post-studio and mailed to bride and groom within 3 weeks. This can even make for great Thank You cards!
Sure, I can do watercolour designs for your wedding. I use watercolour and then scan into Photoshop for editing for cards, invites, envelopes, etc. Some things I can create with watercolor ready for print include:

I am in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I was born in Halifax and grew up in the summers in Musquodoboit Harbour with lots of family vacations to PEI. I studied at Memorial University in Newfoundland as well as Saint Mary’s University in Halifax.
I can fit up to 4 people on one 5″x7″ illustration.
Yes! I can paint from very thin to curvy body types.
The personalized initials wedding date stamp is a stamp to go on the bottom right hand side of the illustration and includes the bride and groom’s last names as well as the wedding date in cursive writing. The stamp is permanent and will not smear. This stamp can be added on as a extra service for an additional $150.
Yes, I could do a watercolour wedding painting commission after the event for you. The size can either be 11″x14″ (small), 16″x20″ (medium), 20″x24″ (large) sizes. Please inquire for commission pricing and to discuss your desired painting.
