This painting is the story of relationships and celebrations. A young woman had just finished an important musical performance on Friday night and her boyfriend surprised her with orange roses and champagne to celebrate. This was one of the happiest moments in her life. The colour of the roses is peculiar. Orange is not your traditional white, red or pink. Yet, the orange roses  was so fitting for the occasion and day; a Friday. Everyone should surprise their partner with orange roses on Fridays.
